February 12...

When I started this I just pulled the solid yellow from my stash. However I miscalculated when i added one more row of blocks to the quilt and I now realize that I don't have enough for a 4 inch yellow border. I'm leaning towards buying some more... the other option would be to shrink the border to 2.5 - 3 inches. It's a moda bella solid, so it should be easy to find. But I don't know exactly which online store I got it from. My only worry is I would get it and it wouldn't be a perfect match b/c it was from a different dye lot...

    I am becoming a fan of yellow. I am impressed that you remember the name of the fabric. I have a little bit of yellow left over from hand appliqued quilt that you helped pick out==but not enough to help you. Plus I think it is darker. Received the Michael Miller BABY Fat quarter collection yesterday.
